GSU seeks mature, capable students who
have the preparation and motivation needed to accomplish
their academic and professional goals. In addition, they
are full of passion for their chosen field of study.
Admission
decisions are based upon both objective and subjective
criteria. An applicant's previous academic record is an
important predictor of his/her ability to succeed at the
College. Previous work experience in the selected field
of study may also be taken into consideration. Finally,
GSU does not discriminate based on race, color, national
origin, gender, age or physical disability in the employment
of faculty and staff, the admission of students, or the
operation of its educational programs and activities.
Such discrimination is prohibited by Title VI of the Civil
Rights Act (pertaining to race, color, and national origin,
Title IX of the Educational Amendments of 1972 (pertaining
gender), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1975
(pertaining to handicap), and the Age Discrimination Act
of 1975 (pertaining to age). GSU also has policies that
prohibit sexual harassment.
