Kim has researched
and authored over ten research papers on the effects of
Osteoporosis and Hormonal Nutrition, Coronary Diseases,
and Pregnancy and Hormone balance, pain and its relation
to protein nutrition, and progesterone hormones for women's
health.
Dr. Kim’s
professional experience includes serving as Laboratory
Research Fellow with Sam Yang Food Company, Seoul, South
Korea from 1969-1970, as a Dietician with Rancho Los Amigos
County Hospital, Downey, CA from 1977 – 1978, as
a Practitioner and Owner of Holy Oriental Medicine &
Acupuncture Clinic, Downey, CA since 1997 (AC LIC #6025).
Kim’s
educational experience includes serving as a Bilingual
Education Specialist for Downey, ABC, Bellflower, Lakewood,
Mountain View and El Monte School Districts from 1979
– 1993, as a Professor of Western Nutrition, Chemistry,
Chinese Nutrition and Clinical Nutrition withDongguk
Royal University (DRU),
as the Academic Dean with Emperor's College of Oriental
Medicine from 1995- 1996, as a Professor of Oriental Medical
Nutrition with Emperor's College of Oriental Medicine
from 1998-1999, as a Professor of Western Nutrition, Herbology,
Oriental Medical Nutrition with Dongguk Royal University
(DRU) from 1999 – 2000, as a Professor/Lecturer
on Principles of Oriental Medicine with Kyung San University
since 2000, as a Senior Lecturer in Oriental Medicine
Nutrition with University of California, Irvine since
1999, and as the Academic Dean of Student Affairs and
Admission with DRU from 2003-2004.
Kim has also
served as a Lecturer and spokesperson for Natural Hormone
Therapy in an Oriental Medical Mission to Paraguay, as
a Lecturer and spokesperson for Natural Hormone Therapy
in Korea.
